Gardner Capital Completes El Dorado Springs Solar Farm, Adding to Its Growing Solar Portfolio in Missouri and Nationwide
Gardner Capital, Missouri’s largest solar energy developer and owner, is proud to announce the completion of its newest solar farm in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. The El Dorado Springs Solar Farm adds to Gardner Capital’s growing Missouri solar portfolio, now exceeding 55MW.
The solar farm will add 3.3MW of clean, reliable electric generation capacity to City of El Dorado Springs Utilities’ grid – about 25% of the city’s total generation capacity. The project, covering around 20 acres of land east of El Dorado Springs on Highway 54, will generate enough electricity to power the annual needs of over 500 average-sized households in El Dorado Springs, and ratepayers in El Dorado Springs should also realize significant energy savings over time.
“We are delighted to bring solar energy to El Dorado Springs. Solar energy has a bright future in Missouri, and municipalities like El Dorado Springs are playing a leading role in the technology’s deployment in Missouri’s electric grid. We are deeply thankful for the City of El Dorado Springs’ help in completing this project, as well as our long-standing partners at MC Power,” said Michael Gardner, CEO & President, Gardner Capital.
El Dorado Springs is Gardner Capital’s 14th solar farm completed in Missouri. Gardner Capital’s solar assets in Missouri now generate enough electricity to power the annual needs of nearly 10,000 average households in Missouri.
